What should I expect after purchasing an AEK to train at the Intergraph Smart Training Center(ISTC)?
Although called different names, access to train at the ISTC is governed by how many license/seat/token values remain on an ISTC Access Enrollment Key, or AEK. Depending on its value, and whether you wish to register yourself and your users, you may be sent an AEK via email. Every AEK is essentially a special code needed to register yourself or your users. The same AEK will allow multiple registrations, depending on how many token values it holds. The AEK will only allow new registrations within the Start and End date for your access, and if at least 1 token value remains. If you request Hexagon PPM register your users, we will provide email confirmation of that process to all students you request to train.
What if my AEK is lost or stolen?
All AEK usage is securely monitored. If your AEK becomes compromised, simply contact ISTC Support for cancellation of the original, and issue of a new one. Any users registered with an unauthorized AEK will be deleted.
What if I want a group of users to train, not just myself?
If you purchase an AEK having 10 or more token values, you are considered an organization. Your organization will be provided with its own customer administration portal, which allows your appointed customer administrator to login and view activity of your students. You can run/download Excel activity/overall completion reports on specific users, or your students as a group.
If I purchase for less than 10 users?
No matter if you purchase 1 token value or 100, you can request Hexagon PPM pre-register you and your users, or have an AEK generated to register at your convenience. Although completion/activity reports are not offered, your users can always monitor their own progress as they train via their enrolled training portal(s).
How long do I have to register and begin training?
After the Start Date has passed for an AEK, you may use all of the key's token values up to its End Date, also called Expiry Date. After registration, a student will have 380 days to train within their enrolled curriculum.
What if I registered using my AEK, or was told I had been registered, but I have not received my email confirmation to begin training?
If you have not received a system email from the ISTC, or a member of our team directly, always check your Spam folder to see if your email client flagged the correspondence. If nothing is there, please use the Support Request form below to seek direct assistance from our Support team.
